The Axe Factory is a quarterly literary journal that publishes contemporary poetry, prose, and visual art in any 2D medium.

Submissions are rolling and simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but please notify us if your work has been accepted for publication elsewhere. One submission may include up to 5,000 words of prose, five poems, or five jpeg images.

You will be notified when your submission has been received.  Please allow 1-2 weeks for us to make a decision regarding your piece.

Authors and artists will be paid a $25 honorarium for work that is selected for publication.
